I’m passionate about helping you live a soul-aligned life.

Meet Myeisha

Myeisha Essex is a sacred purpose coach, wellness advocate, motivational speaker, journalist, and digital marketing specialist. With a passion for teaching the power of mindfulness, meditation, and self-care, Myeisha has become a leading voice in the wellness community.

After years of personal and professional experience, she founded Essex Media Group — a boutique agency that focuses on 3 main pillars: purpose coaching, digital marketing, and event planning in the wellness space.

Myeisha — affectionately known as The Sacred Purpose Coach — is dedicated to assisting her clients in connecting to their higher selves, letting go of unfulfilling jobs and pursuing their soul's calling. Through 1:1 coaching, soulcare retreats and a comprehensive 7-step guide, she assists people in finding their true calling by tapping in to nourish their soul. Transitioning into fulfilling and purposeful work can be challenging and even intimidating at times, especially if you have to step away from your 9-to-5. However, as a coach, Myeisha guides her clients in staying in spiritual alignment as they navigate through this oh-so worth it transition!

Myeisha is also known for creating safe spaces for people of color to deepen their meditation practice. She manages and travels with Zentola and The Sound Bowlettes, an Essex Media Group client and the first mindfulness experience of its kind. Zentola and The Sound Bowlettes tour hosting mindfulness experiences with the intention of healing globally through the power of meditation, breathwork and sound.

On the marketing side of Essex Media Group, she teaches her clients how to align themselves with the energy and emotions that drive their customers' most profitable behaviors.

Before launching her agency, Myeisha soared as a journalist, producer, and digital strategist for some of today's most well-known brands. She's worked as Head of Social on the marketing team for sleep and meditation app Calm; senior editor at Entertainment Tonight; and managing editor of The Shade Room. She also served as the social media strategist on season one of The Jennifer Hudson Show and senior digital producer at The Real daytime talk show. Her work as an editor and writer can be found in ESSENCE magazine, on BlackLove.com, and CBS News.

Myeisha is a graduate of Bennett College for Women and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. For speaking engagements, marketing, coaching, or consulting services, please contact myeisha@essexmediagroup.com.
